Terms of Sale and Licence

1. Who we are

Deep Trip is a brand of Pattern Void LLC, a limited liability company registered in Georgia under identification number 445864583, with its registered address at Zhiuli Shartava Avenue, Block B, Floor 36, Apartment 896, Batumi, Georgia ("Pattern Void", "we", "us"). These terms apply when you download, try, buy or use a Deep Trip instrument ("the software") from deept.rip. By buying a licence or using the software you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not buy or use it.

2. The seller and payment

Deep Trip instruments are sold and licensed by Pattern Void LLC. Ravens FZE LLC, based in the United Arab Emirates, receives payments for these purchases through its Stripe account. Stripe provides payment processing. Ravens FZE LLC may appear on payment documents; your software licence remains with Pattern Void LLC.

You pay in US dollars. Your card issuer or bank may apply its own conversion or foreign-transaction fees, which we do not control.

3. Price

Each Deep Trip instrument is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Launch prices apply to purchases made on or before 31 December 2026; from 1 January 2027 the regular prices apply. The current price is shown on each product page and at checkout. The price shown is the total you pay: no tax is added at checkout.

We may change the price of future purchases at any time. A change never affects a licence you have already bought.

4. Free trial

You can try the full version of each Deep Trip instrument free for 7 days on one computer. The trial is started from inside the software with an email address; no payment card is needed. When the trial ends, audio instruments stop producing audio until you activate a purchased key. Visions covers its visualizations with the activation screen; audio continues to pass through untouched. Your projects and exports remain on your computer.

One trial is available per person and per computer. We may refuse or end a trial that is being used to get around this.

5. Delivery

The software is digital content delivered immediately. After a successful payment your licence key is sent to the email address you gave at checkout, usually within minutes. The software itself is downloaded from deept.rip. If the key does not arrive, use deept.rip/key or write to us.

At checkout you ask us to deliver the licence key immediately and acknowledge that, once it has been delivered, you lose the statutory right of withdrawal that consumers in the EU, EEA and UK otherwise have for 14 days. Our refund policy is described separately in the Refund Policy.

6. The licence

When you pay, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide and perpetual licence to install and use the software. You are buying a licence to use the software, not the software itself, and no ownership in it passes to you.

• One licence key may be active on up to 3 computers that you own or use at the same time.
• You can move the licence by deactivating a computer from the Activate window in the software, or by using a "free all computers" link that we email on request. Emailed release links are limited in number and frequency to prevent abuse.
• The licence is for you. You may use it for commercial and non-commercial music work. You may not share, resell, rent, lend or publish your key, or let others use it beyond the computers allowed.
• Whatever you create with the software is yours. We claim no rights in your music, your exports or the material you feed the software. You are responsible for holding the rights to the source audio and video you use.

7. Restrictions

Except where the law expressly allows it, you may not:

• copy, modify, translate or create derivative works of the software, other than ordinary installation and backups;
• reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, or try to extract its source code or models;
• remove, bypass or tamper with the licence check, activation or any copy-protection;
• distribute the software, your key or any part of either.

8. System requirements

Deep Trip instruments run on Mac computers with Apple Silicon on macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later, as a VST3 plugin, an Audio Unit and a standalone app. It does not run on Windows, Intel Macs or Linux. On a Mac, check before buying: Apple menu → About This Mac; the chip line must start with Apple M. The free trial is the best way to confirm it works for you.

9. Online features and licence checks

All audio analysis and synthesis run on your computer and your audio is never uploaded. The software needs an internet connection to:

• activate a key or start the trial;
• download its analysis models from Hugging Face the first time they are needed;
• refresh the licence, about every 7 days. A paid licence token is valid for up to 60 days from its last successful issue or refresh. If it expires, the software asks you to connect again. Trial and other time-limited licences still end on their stated expiry date;
• look up lyrics on lrclib.net, if you use that feature, by sending the artist and title of the track.

10. Updates

We may release updates that fix bugs, add features or keep the software working with new versions of macOS. Updates to the major version you bought are included. We do not promise that the software will keep working with every future version of macOS, every host or every computer.

11. Refunds, chargebacks and revocation

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy. If a purchase is refunded, reversed or charged back, the licence ends and the key is revoked: the software stops working on every computer where it was activated.

We may also revoke a key that has been shared publicly, obtained by fraud, or used in breach of these terms. Where we do, we will tell you by email unless the law or the circumstances prevent it.

12. Warranty

We build Deep Trip instruments carefully and want it to work for you. To the extent permitted by law, the software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind beyond those you have by law that cannot be excluded, and we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or that it will run without interruption.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, including rights in relation to digital content that is faulty or not as described.

13. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Pattern Void LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profit or loss of music or projects, and our total liability arising from the software is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. Keep backups of your work.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

14. Ending the licence

You can stop using the software at any time. We may end the licence if you seriously breach these terms. When the licence ends you must stop using the software and delete it. Sections 6 (ownership of your work), 12, 13 and 15 continue to apply.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Courts in Georgia have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring a claim there. Before going to court, please write to info@deept.rip; most problems are solved by email.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you buy applies to that purchase; later changes apply to your use of the software from the date they are published, and we will tell you by email about changes that materially affect you.
