Refund Policy

1. Try before you buy

Every Deep Trip instrument comes with a free 7-day trial of the full instrument on one computer, with no card needed. Please use it to check that the instrument runs on your computer, works in your host and does what you want before you buy. Deep Trip instruments require an Apple Silicon Mac on macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later.

2. Digital content and the right of withdrawal

The software is digital content supplied immediately: your licence key is emailed as soon as the payment is confirmed. At checkout you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the key has been delivered. This applies to consumers in the EU, EEA and UK, who would otherwise be able to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days.

3. When we refund

Even so, we consider a refund if you ask within 14 days of purchase and:

• The instrument does not install or run on a supported computer (an Apple Silicon Mac on macOS 14 or later) and we cannot fix the problem with you;
• you were charged twice for the same purchase, or charged for something you did not order;
• the law where you live gives you a right to a refund, for example because the digital content is faulty or not as described.

Refunds are not given for a change of mind after the key has been delivered, for Windows, an Intel Mac, Linux or an unsupported macOS version, or once the trial has already shown the problem you are now reporting.

4. How to ask

Email info@deept.rip from the address you bought with, within 14 days of purchase. Include your order email, the date, your Mac model and macOS version, your host, and what goes wrong. We usually answer within a few working days and may ask for a log or a short screen recording so we can try to fix the problem first.

5. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, for the full amount you paid. It can take 5–10 business days for the money to appear, depending on your bank.

6. What happens to the key

A refunded purchase ends the licence. The key is revoked and the instrument stops working on every computer where it was activated. The same happens if a payment is charged back or reversed through your bank or card issuer. If you dispute a charge, please write to us first; we would rather sort it out directly.

7. Your statutory rights

This policy does not limit any rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
